You know whenver i wanted to use an off beat word like sex or anything related to my body i had to look around that no one was watching me. Same is the case of our very own film industry Bollywood. Well its nothing new for us, but this also makes news. Bollywood has always been on a regular check by our censors the so called ( scissor hands) who can forget them. It will take time for our Bollywood janta and the censors before they come out of the closet. Well to be frank Bollywood has always been subjected to a lot of controversies for the wrong reasons. Independent movie makers who wanted to show realism in their movies were not allowed to show the truth of what actually happens in real life. Movies where sex plays an important role to show the depiction of passion and love in the movie are sliced ... ok ok before i get chopped off to.
The thing i want to convey is that Bollywood still has to grow as far as sensitive movies are to be given more freedom to explore what actually happens in real life circumstances... In a recent movie called 'HELLO' actress gul panag used the word 'CONDOM' in the movie for which the censors found red and chopped of the scene. Bollywood has still not come in terms and is orthodox with the use of slang languages in movies or nudity display in a bad manner. Censorboard are now chopping off things which should get the green, coz after all our Indian audience is growing and moving with time. People are now open and want to see what is real and acceptable. Movies have to be made with a sense of realism as far the story is concerned. Real life cinema is what we are looking for.
